Rotkäppchen. Little Red Cap, from the story by the brothers Grimm. Little Red Riding Hood to us.
It’s a sparkling wine and one of few East German products to survive.

I’ve got 2 dark Czechvar, a tall can of Stella, and a magnum of Asti in the fridge.

Ooooh, Rotkäppchen Halbtrocken. My female coworkers love that shit.
I’m having a Wernesgrüner (another East German product), btw.

€1.19 for 200ml now that I see the receipt. Not bad for the price!

Guinness for me tonight. Found a good deal on the draught cans so I bought a couple 4 packs. I have a real love/hate relationship with that beer.

Yeah, it’s not actually pricey. The big one is 3.99 or so. I think they survived the post-unification years by simply catering to their core demographic “East Germans who want some bubbles but are not willing to spend too much”.
They also seem to do special editions. We got these personalised ones from the class who graduated last year.
